Aylin Wilson, M.Ost
Coming from a holistic-minded and bicultural family, Aylin has grown up living in an environment that fostered open-minded enquiry and a self-sufficient approach to health. Growing up, she directly benefited from Osteopathic treatment which cultivated a natural interest in human anatomy, function and biomechanics.
Aylin graduated from The University College of Osteopathy (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) in 2019 with an Integrated Master’s in Osteopathy (M.Ost) , complimented by a Sports/Therapeutic Massage Diploma and a Foundation in Dry Needling. She further added to her skills by completing a specialist ostgraduate Paediatric Osteopathy Diploma, at the London Clinic of Paediatric Osteopathy from 2020-22. During the pandemic, she used this knowledge to run a small “donation based” community clinic from her studio, where she treated and helped families with children in all age ranges thrive.
Being hyper-mobile herself, it has given her insight into how uniquely everyone’s anatomy responds and recovers from injuries. This has led her to take an interest in Sports injuries and Chronic Pain/Hyper-mobility Management and she hopes to deepen her understanding of human development and movement.
Passionate about physical activity and health, Aylin regularly frequents her local climbing gym and practises Calisthenics, Aerial and Circus Skills. This utilises the theory behind her education and is consistent with her knowledge of injury rehabilitation and recovery.
As a life-long member of the diverse Hackney community, She has the pleasure of working with people from all backgrounds and cultures, with Turkish as her second language. Aylin has experience working with patients ranging from young children to the elderly within specialist clinics linked to the UCO (Expectant Mothers Clinic, Sports clinic, Royal Free Hospital and Blanchard Clinic for patients’ with HIV).
